Prosper joins the world of Liaigre ! A place where materials speak with honesty,
where each line is shaped with intent, and where craftsmanship meets meaning.
« From the very first sketch, Prosper emerged as a primitive, almost mythological form. The lines stretched into an animal silhouette – somewhere between a fox and a crocodile – yet stripped of all ferocity. I conceived it as a protective presence, a domesticated figure, both sculpture and seat. In patinated bronze, Prosper asserts the strength of a form shaped by fire, while revealing, in its welcoming curve, the gentleness of an interior companion. It embodies the ambivalence at the core of my practice: between power and delicacy, the archaic and the contemporary. »

Marie Goy presents three signature pieces from her collection as part of an exhibition curated by the French Design Center at Artcurial, Hôtel Dassault, Paris.
Echoing the timeless dialogue between nature and form, these works — Pivoine, Prosper and Écume — embody a sculptural approach to furniture where material, gesture, and presence converge.
Through this selection, the designer continues her exploration of organic structures and quiet strength — a living expression of French craftsmanship and contemporary art of making.

« My designs are timeless and understated, embodying an homage to nature itself. I believe that each piece should serve the material, allowing its essence to shine through. Crafted solely upon request, my furniture retains an exclusive and respectful nature. I take great pride in collaborating with the finest workshops in France, where skilled artisans bring my visions to life. These craftsmen are the true heroes of my work, and I celebrate their remarkable craftsmanship and dedication. Just as every individual is unique, so too is each project I undertake. This is why every piece can be tailored in terms of finish and dimensions, ensuring that it resonates personally with those who welcome it into their homes. »
